Summer is the preferred window; winter conditions often prevent the exposed Cabo Espichel wreck trip.

Advanced depth, exposed sea and wreck structure demand conservative gas, an SMB, artifact preservation and no penetration beyond training and authorization.
Hours
No fixed public hours. Boat departures, protected-area access and shore entries depend on operators, permits and sea state.
