Faial’s regular operating season is mainly June to October; wind, swell, current and the planned depth govern access.
Safety
Recreational divers must agree a maximum depth and remain on the selected boundary route. The deeper wall to 50 m is technical, not a default profile.
Hours
No fixed public hours. Boat departures, protected-area access and shore entries depend on operators, permits and sea state.
